Luigi Pretolani

Born in Forlì and studied Cello in Florence at the Conservatorio Cherubini and at the Musikhochschule of Munich with Reiner Ginzel. He played more than 500 concerts with G.B. Cirri Cello ensemble, Quartetto Menuett (strings), Quintetto Ars Musica (Clarinet Quintet), duo Cello and Piano, Orchestra Città di Ferrara, Orchestra Giovanile Italiana, Orchestra Maderna, and others.
In 1996 he founded Orchestra Maderna in Forlì and he begun to lead it as administration and organization manager making and managing project for Ravenna Festival, Ravenna Manifestazioni, Bologna Festival, Filarmonica della Scala and others and working with artists like M° Riccardo Muti, Karl Heinz Steffens and Ludwigh Quandt first solo parts of Berliner Philarmoniker.
He is chairman of Orchestra Maderna, Scuola Musicale di Bertonoro and JCE Network Festival. He is also manager of Romagna Musica Soc Coop and production manager for the concerts of Kenny Wheeler, John Taylor, and most concerts of Cappella della Pietà dé Turchini and Ensemble Risonanza. He is production and administration manager of On The Road Festival Pelago and Suoni e Colori in Toscana Festival. He is production manager of Tones on the Stones Festival.
