Grand Hotel Dino of Baveno

Atelier La Voce dell’Arte has chosen an outstanding venue for the performance of the Fedora Prize: the Grand Hotel Dino of Baveno, on the shores of Lake Maggiore.

The superb salons of the hotel are transformed into a scenic space where the music moves towards the audience and not vice versa.  The Fedora Prize has made this choice with the deliberate intention of departing from the traditional setting of the opera, to bring the operatic performance closer to the audience.

A hotel is a significant place in the travels, meetings, career and personal development of all artists. For us too it is all of this, and more: it offers an occasion for an interlude of creativity, of theatre and music, in a scenic space continually in movement.
